Stephanie Howcroft, Media Buyer

Stephanie Howcroft manages all out-of-home media buying for Vision Media’s clients.

She studied Communications at the University of Michigan and began her career in broadcast media buying in Chicago at Leo Burnett. After gaining experience, she returned to Michigan to work at J. Walter Thompson, where she honed her negotiation skills and discovered her passion for small to medium-sized agencies. This experience allowed her to learn about planning and a wider variety of media.

With an expansive skillset and entrepreneurial spirit, Stephanie contracted with various agencies and clients, collaborating with prominent local advertisers like Art Van Furniture, Fieger Law, and Gardner White Furniture, all while raising her young family.

In 2024, she enhanced her traditional buying and planning expertise by obtaining a digital marketing certification from the AMA/DMI and subsequently joined the Vision Media team.

Stephanie is equally comfortable handling multi-million-dollar TV negotiations and placing individual hyper-local billboards. Her favorite aspect of media planning and buying involves learning about client businesses, understanding consumer behavior, and exploring local market nuances to identify the most efficient and effective media opportunities for each campaign.

She enjoys living in Michigan with her husband, four children, a dog, and two cats. When she’s not attending her kids' sporting events in the spring and fall, Stephanie loves downhill skiing, kayaking, reading, and traveling.
